Neighbour Ronald Russell got a good shot of the bobcat family living around the west edge of the neighbourhood, up at the top of the hill, and sent them in. Thanks, Ron!

This little guy has been coming around our yard up the hill on 57th for the last week or so – a small young coyote, probably only 15 lb. or so. In the picture he is chowing down windfall apples. I don’t think he would be a threat to anything much bigger than a rat or mouse, of which there are plenty around.
